3 Years in the making.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in the baby carriage..Check check and check.

It's been an eventful 3 years...obviously.

December 30th was me and the Hubster's 3rd Anniversary!

On one hand it seems like these three years have flown by, but on the other it seems like we were getting hitched just yesterday!

3 years and a lot to say for them. We are the instant gratification type...We'd been together for 7 1/2 years when we got married so we were ready to 'be adults and play house' and do what we wanted for a change. So we eradicated that with fulfilling some of our dreams like marriage, renting, getting pregnant, buying a house, birth of baby #1, getting pregnant again, buying a car, birth of baby #2!

(all within 2 1/2 years!)

That being said, I think we got it out of our system! Ha

Not going to lie, we've had our bouts of hard times, amongst the extremely positive were the difficulties our elders described to us as young newlyweds like: job loss, mortgages and bills, housework, adventures in childbearing and rearing, unexpected expenses, home ownership (and all that goes with that).

... not to mention just plain going from high school sweethearts to husband and wife. And the extremely different roles you must begin to form.

But living our lives as they come to us, we always keep in mind that 'these are the days', we are not people that live too far in the future, we always take the opportunity for an experience, we're always on the run, and we try to live in the now.

We've crossed all these milestones and we're now entering into a new chapter of raising our family, taking back a few moments to ourselves, and enjoying ourselves from all that we've been blessed with in the last 3 years!
